Friday Top 5: Fall Decorating

I’m loving the cool fall temperatures, so even though we still “officially” have a few more weeks of summer, everyone’s thinking about fall decorating. I hung my burlap wreath and have started crocheting like a crazy woman. So bring on the pumpkins, mums, apples, and berries. I’m ready! Here are some of my favorite ideas:

1. Leaves and berries. Simple and beautiful!

2. Pumpkins. I kind of love the idea of filling the fireplace with pumpkins. I wonder how many I would need…

3. Indian corn. I got some ears of dried indian corn at the pumpkin patch last year and saved them to use again. I think it’s time to get them out and see if they survived the year in the basement!

4. Acorn branches. Too bad they’re $60 a pop. What are the chances I can find branches this amazing at Hobby Lobby? Here’s to trying! Or I could collect acorns from our yard and glue them on branches, but that sounds like a lot of work!

5. I’m absolutely head-over-heals, smitten with these velvet pumpkins from LoveFeast Shop! I wonder if I could figure out how to make them…

Have you started decorating for fall yet?
