Holiday Gift Wrap Ideas

I love wondering the aisles of Target enjoying the festive wrapping and bows, but the reality is that in one short month I will have to store yet another tube of paper that I can only use one season out of the year. I know ‘bah humbug’, but with storage tight around here I am constantly looking for ways to maximize the items we need or pair down on the ones we don’t.

So you can only guess how thrilled I was to see some of these beautiful festive wrapping ideas made out of simple paper you can customize for the season or occasion.

Simple brown paper wrapping or even reused grocery bags embellished with a little holiday sparkle goes a long way to making the holidays bright!

Gift Wrapping

Instead of buying scores of tubes of wrapping paper, I love the idea of adding a few festive touches to a simple white background. Heavens, just a few sheets of scrapbook paper would do the trick!

I love a new use for something I have PLENTY of, and without a doubt our household is in no short supply of paint chips!  Hand this girl some double stick tape and and extra dose of cutting patience and I’ll be a wrapping machine!

Do you have any tricks for simple holiday wrapping?  Am I the only one that gets annoyed by Christmas paper falling out of the closet in mid July?

We love using brown wrapping paper because it never goes out of season! We’re too practical in that way:) And it’s super cheap at the Dollar Tree. And you get a lot of it for $1.00.
