Does anyone else get a calendar every year for Christmas? It might not seem like the most exciting gift, but it's one of my favorites because it's the gift that keeps on giving! Last year Adam gave me a botanical calendar from Rifle Paper Co. Now that it's 2013 I can't wait to start framing the months!
This year I have a Snow & Graham calendar. I try not to peak at the upcoming months, so they're a surprise–does anyone else do that?
A couple years ago I bought 4 square frames at Michael's and had mattes made with 8×8-inch openings. Ever since I've been rotating out calendar art! I love picking different combinations. Obviously I need to learn how to take pictures of frames without getting a glare, any tips?
To give you some perspective, this is the wall opposite the fireplace in our living room. I love changing out the art work and what I have displayed on the table. I took the Christmasy red and white felt pinecones out of the bowl and decided it works for January decor. And I picked some calendar pages with springy colors. I need all the inspiration I can get these days! I'm itching to be able to take baby boy on walks outside! I've never been a mall walker, but I might have to start!
