It's hard to believe that Adam and I said "I do" 7 years ago (yesterday)! I love looking back over the year and sharing our "highs" and "lows" and looking forward to what God has in store for us in the coming year. This year especially, we have so much to be thankful for and to look forward to! Every day and week we get more excited to meet our little boy and start this next chapter of our lives. We have loved our years without kids, but we feel like we're as ready as we'll ever be to start our family!
This year our anniversary coincided with a work conference of Adam's, so we took the chance to escape for a "babymoon" of sorts. We visited with family outside of Orlando and then spent an extra day at the resort where his conference is.
We give each other gifts that follow the traditional anniversary gifts. This year, the material was copper, so we had to get creative. I gave Adam a copper keychain, with our names and anniversary stamped on it. His gift to me is on it's way. I keep asking him for hints and all he'll tell me is that it's made of copper, that's no fun!
Yesterday we pampered ourselves with massages and then Adam surprised me with a special anniversary dinner. He went all out, finding a romantic Italian restaurant that reminded us of our favorite meals from when we were in Italy last year.
And if that wasn't enough, when we ordered dessert (cannolis!) this is the plate that came out, along with a single rose!I'm one lucky lady to have a man who treats me so well! Thanks babe, I love you!
