Crepe Night

Cody turned to me last week and said, ‘do you want to have people over for crepes?’

Now you must know my husband has been talking about this Berkeley Crepes shop for the last 5 years. He has a serious love for sweet French pancakes! So we set the date, invited a few friends and then stared into our cupboards for filling ideas. Here’s what we came up with:

Savory

Green leaf spinach topped with with sausage & sauteed mushrooms

Sliced Figs, sprinkled with feta cheese & drizzled with honey

Warm red sauce, pepperoni & yellow peppers, sprinkled with mozzarella

Sweet

Warmed mixed berries & whipped cream

Peanut butter & hot fudge

Apricot preserve with sweet dried cranberries

Can we say yum?  Maybe we’ll have to revisit this idea come Pancake Day.

Party planning tip: Become friends with an awesome photographer especially if he has an award-winning, adorable baby! With these two gems any party will be a slam dunk! Well at least until bedtime.

    • A crepe reception, oo la la! Cody would have been in heaven! Keep us updated on your upcoming crepe night, it’s great hearing about the different filling combination people come up will use!
