(this picture doesn't really have anything to do with the rest of the post, but I couldn't resist sharing it! At one of my baby showers everyone decorated onesies. Didn't they turn out great!?)
We're counting down the days and weeks until we meet our little boy (24 to be exact)! I alternate between feelings of pure excitement and uncertainty. Everyone says you're never really ready to have kids and obviously we can't imagine how our lives will change, so I think we're as ready as we'll ever be!
We didn't really have a "bucket list" of things we wanted to do before we had kids, but there are things that we're so glad we did before we became parents. The big one was going to Europe last summer. We have been able to travel a lot in the last 7 years, but that trip was definitely the best! We definitely want to keep traveling with our kids, but of course it will be different!
Another thing that I'm really glad we did was go through a marriage study with a group of couples. We were already pregnant when we did this, but it was a great chance to take time to be intentional about our relationship and learn from others. I highly recommend it!
The Nest has a good list of things to do before having a baby. Some of them I never would have thought of, like appreciating time alone in the bathroom or sleeping in on the weekend.
Any parents out there have tips or advice for before or after baby!?
