Day 8 Tips and Tricks: Pack and Play Storage

by laura.johnson

Friday Andrea share a few of the items that were on her "before baby to-do list" and while their little man's arrival is coming up quickly I thought I'd share a few of the tips and tricks my little lady has brought into our life.

For those have have been following and praying for us, thank you, one of these days my brain will fire up again and I'll be able to fill you all in on our lives the last six months, but in short, she's perfect and we couldn't be happier!

Ok back to the main point of the post today; making room for baby is always a challenge, but making room for baby in a 550 square foot 1 bedroom apartment is a serious challenge!

Lucky for us this guy came to our rescue.

The Graco Pack N Play, I can sing nothing but praises for this guy! Not only is it our bassinet, changing table, and diaper storage we really maximize its 3.5'x2.5' footprint by storing all the baby goodies we aren't using right now under the bassinet.

A jumbo box of diapers, spare blankets, toys, even the little newborn napper she outgrew. I toss a fitted sheet over the goods to keep them nice and clean for when we are ready to use them.

And once everything is back in place you can hardly tell I'm storing almost 6 months of baby necessities right below where she lays her head every night.

Eventually she will outgrow the bassinet, and we'll have to come up with a new solution, but for now we love our little 'basement'!

Anyone else have clever baby storage tips or have any other life (or sanity) saving tips to enjoying your newborn? Please share!
