I have a small collection of colorful washi tape that I use to embellish note cards and envelopes. But I’ve seen tons of projects using it (and even shared some here). The other night it was cold and snowy and I decided I needed to do something crafty. I grabbed some washi tape and started decorating my magazine cubbies.
The tape was just a little wider than the shelf dividers, I so ran it down the middle of the divider and wrapped it around the edges. I used two different patterns, but it would work just as well with one.
The best part is how easy it was! Seriously, I don’t think it took me more than 5 minutes! And it’s something that makes me smile every time I see it. Isn’t that the definition of the perfect project? Now if only stenciling our entry way were that simple…That’s one of those projects that’s turning into a lot more work than I imagined!
Have you done any super, simple but satisfying projects lately? I’d love to hear about them!
