Happy Friday! When I first started staying home with Emerson I felt like every day was the same. It didn’t matter if it was a weekday or a weekend. I still had a baby to feed and change and watch. That has changed. Now we love the days when dad doesn’t have to go to work and we all get to hang out!
I’m extra excited for this weekend because it’s my the Drake Relays (my alma mater) and my 10 year college reunion! That means lots of old friends will be in town and we have some fun events to go to. Hooray for weekends and babysitters!
Here are some of my favorite things from around the web this week:
I can’t get enough of the Naptime Diaries spring collection. I think the print above is my favorite, but they are all super inspiring.
I have been ordering these snack bars in bulk. Emerson loves them and it’s perfect that there are 2 in each pack.
If you’re a mom who sometimes forgets to take care of yourself (that’s me!) this is a must read. Our families depend on us–that means we have to let people help us or we will burn out.
I haven’t met Kayla, but after reading her blog for awhile I consider her a friend. She’s one of those girls I’m sure I could share a whole pot of coffee with and talk about everything from raising boys to fashion, to faith and marriage. She and several friends cleaned out their closets and are throwing a shop-my-closet sale on Instagram to raise money for her family’s adoption. I can’t wait to do a little shopping on Monday night. You should definitely check it out!
And don’t forget to check back Monday for more of my natural living series. Next week I’m sharing about cloth diapers!
