Does anyone else celebrate May Day? I’m pretty sure this is only a Midwest holiday. After a long winter, we’re ready to celebrate spring!
Traditionally you anonymously leave small treats for your neighbors. I completely forgot about it last year, but Emerson got some cute little baskets. This year the plan is to deliver our baskets after naps.
Here are some of my favorite links this week:
How cute are these little packages? Would you ever guess they’re made from toilet paper rolls? I’ll have to remember this idea for May Day treats next year!
I’m learning a lot about my limitations and how important it is to say no. I loved Shauna Niequist’s recent post On Narrowing.
If you have a blog or have ever thought of starting one, Emily shared some great posts about blogging this week. I especially love all her ideas for what to write about when you have writer’s block.
I always love reading what Emily learns each month. One of these months maybe I’ll get my act together and keep track of what I’m learning and share my own “what I learned” post!
I made these tasty flax cereal bars and I think they may replace my go-to peanut butter balls as a quick, protein packed snack. I love that the puffed flax cereal (I found it at a normal Target) add crunch and make them a little denser. Yum!
I can’t wait to start getting flowers and vegetables in the garden this weekend! Who else is gardening this weekend?
