Friday Top 5: Easy Wall Art

by Andrea Cooley

Looking through my recent Pinterest pins, I noticed that I had lots of ideas for decorating walls. (Am I the only one who forgets they've already pinned something and end up adding it to a board multiple times? I figure that means I must really like it!)

1. Stenciled walls Who says you have to stencil the whole wall? I love the idea of stenciling walls instead of wallpapering, but don't know if I have the patience to do a whole wall.

2. Frame wallpaper Here's another great way to use wallpaper without covering the entire wall. Just hang a few strips and frame it with molding.

3. Birch log art Turn unexpected materials into display pieces. I'm not quite sure how you'd hang this, but I love the texture of the birch.

4. Fish scale wall I'm always amazed and impressed with Kara and Tim's projects. How cool is this fish-scale wall? Check out more of their projects here.

5. Embroidery hoops I have been wanting to do something with embroidery hoops for a long time and finally picked some up on my last trip to Michaels (who knew they were under $2 a piece?). I can't wait to show you what I have planned for them!
