I'm popping in quick today (I can't believe I've posted 3 times this week!) to share a guest post I wrote over on Life Blessons today about some of the things God has taught me during my first year of motherhood. Carmen is mom to a sweet little girl and asked me to be part of her Redeeming Motherhood series about the struggles of being a mom and how the Lord graciously uses these times to bless us. It was perfect timing as I've been reflecting on Emerson's first year!
One verse that I repeated over and over during the first few months when I never thought I'd sleep through the night again was Lamentations 3:22-23
“Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.”
