We had a wonderful turn out for our Thrift Store Romp. Just enough eyes to find great bargains, yet not too many bodies to make the event feel more like herding cattle. We had a few pros along to help spot the treasure amidst the rubble and a few novices who learned a tip or two along the way.
The Thrifty Bingo Game was a hit. It challenged us to go to new areas of the store to find items from a decade ago that we’ve long forgotten about, bedazzel anyone?
Of course there were no major purchases, but lots of good finds a long the way. I found these beautiful sheets, unfortunately they will spend their second life at a drop cloth in my husband’s shop, but maybe they can inspire a paint project or two.
Then we finished the day off with free Slurpees, and sugar induced fashion show of the new skirts and dresses we found! Ahh to be a thirteen year old girl again!
Did anyone else have a phenomenal find this weekend? Or planning on dropping by your favorite convenience store for a free frozen beverage today? After all it is 7-11!
