Can you believe we've been blogging here for over 2 years?! In the excitement of having a baby, I kind of forgot that November 1 is our blogiversary. But here we are! Some of you have been with us from the beginning and some of you are newbies. Either way, thanks for reading! We love sharing our projects and thoughts on marriage with you.
After blogging for 31 days in October about Tips & Tricks, we realized that we do best when we have some structure to our posts. Especially now that we both have babies! If I don't have something on the calendar, I'm quickly learning that it's probably not going to get done (and even then it still might not get done, but I'm learning to lower my expectations).
Anyway, we're hoping to set aside certain days to blog on specific topics. We make no guarantees that we'll be able to stick to this, but it's worth a shot! I'm sure there will be weeks when babies are teething or sick and the blog takes a back seat, but hopefully you'll bear with us.
We're going to try to dedicate posts on Mondays to marriage. Some weeks we'll share a peek into other people's marriages, some weeks we'll write about our own marriages, and sometimes, like today, we'll share what other people have written on the subject.
A few months ago, Layla over at The Lettered Cottage shared some 6 word love stories. I saved the link and am finally getting around to sharing it!
If you haven't visited The Lettered Cottage blog written by Layla and Kevin, you're in for a treat! I love their cottage style and humble honesty whether it's about their DIY projects or voicing their fears. They recently moved into a new house and I can't wait to see how they add their style to it. And they are just getting back from a trip to Peru with Compassion International. I love reading bloggers experiences on these trips! We sponsor a girl in Kenya and I'm always encouraged after reading about these trips to visit the villages and families of sponsored children. Maybe one day I'll get to meet her!
Back to the six word love stories. I don't know if it's lack of sleep or just general new-mom spaciness, but I'm all over the place today!
Here's one for me and Adam: "First friendship, then love, laughter, family."
Here's one for Laura & Cody: "Love from afar brought us together."
Now it's your turn! We'd love to hear your stories!
