Order in the house

by Andrea Cooley

It's been a great week of organizing ideas!

Monday I shared about my obsession with magazines and how I keep them contained

Tuesday was all about pretty jewelry storage

Wednesday I showed how I use hooks around the house

Thursday we shared some of our favorite ways to organize everything from baby clothes and board games to yarn and dishes

Today we're wrapping things up with some more great ideas for getting organized around the house.

hidden-kitchen-organizerI love this solution from Two Twenty One! She moved everything that was cluttering up her refrigerator onto the inside of one of her cabinet doors. Genius!

hooks-purses_300Use shower curtain hooks to hang purses. Why didn't I think of this? I actually just hung some hooks on the wall of our closet, but this would have worked so much better!

wrapping paper storageI'll be honest, this gives me major wrapping paper organization envy! I have my rolls of wrapping paper and gift bags jammed under the bed in the guest room and it's always a battle to find what I'm looking for. This would be so convenient! Maybe someday I will make it happen!

I definitely need to try putting them in a tissue box101968905.jpg.rendition.largestI wish my freezer was this organized! Then I would never have to dig around for the bag of peas or last burrito.

I hope you enjoyed a week of organizing tips and tricks and maybe even were inspired to organize a room or a closet! Have a great weekend and make sure to check back on Monday for the return of Marriage Mondays!

  1. I might have to rethink the shoe organizer idea for Lucan's room – it would be a great place to stash spare tractors too :)
