Washi tape isn’t new, but I still love it! I have a few rolls and love using it to decorate notecards and envelopes, but the possibilites are endless.

I got my tape at Ephemera (an adorable little paper shop in Des Moines), but I’ve heard you can find it at Michael’s now. Next time I’m there I’ll have to look for it!

Here are some of my favorite ways to use it. Have you tried any of them? I wonder how well it really sticks to the wall (and how easy it is to take off). tape_frames_1 Washi frames What a great alternative to a bulletin board! Just tape pictures and artwork to the wall and frame it with pretty tape. I especially love the overlapping colors and fun shapes. I’ve never seen metallic washi tape, but I’ll have to look for it. 8553121772_1df01bae8a_z Washi charger Adam and I both have iPhones and we’re forever losing one of our chargers. After I saw this idea, I immediately put washi tape around the end of my charger. Now we at least know which one is mine! And it’s easier to see in the junk drawer.

  1. I love these ideas, but would never do them until someone could tell me how easy it is to take off and what kind of residue it leaves!
