Snowflake Burlap Table Runner

Snowflake burlap table runnerI found time to do a little holiday crafting last week! Remember that snowflake burlap table runner I shared a few weeks ago in my “if-I-had-time-to-DIY-this-holiday-season-this-is-what-I-would-do” post? Well, I was at Target and found these fun felt snowflakes for $1 each. I couldn’t pass them up!

I had a pair of burlap curtains that I scored at a garage sale over the summer for $0.50 that I knew would be the perfect length for a table runner. I cut one of them in half and as you can see, I should have tried to iron it, but there’s a limit to what you can get done during nap time!Snowflake burlap table runnerThen I grabbed my trusty glue gun and glued each point of the snowflakes to the burlap. If you try this, make sure to put newspaper or something under the burlap or the glue with seep through to the table!

Snowflake burlap table runnerI put the snowflakes on in a random pattern. What do you think? If they go on clearance after Christmas, I may have to get some more! They would make a fun garland or I could put them on throw pillows like Kara did!
