Summer Wreaths

by laura.johnson

Maybe it was the long holiday weekend, followed by temps in the 90’s, but it seems like in the matter of the week we’ve sprung from spring in to full fledged summer!  So along with my seersucker pants and white skirts I thought it was high time we bust out some of our favorite summer decor, starting with the front door of course.

Here are some of our favorite summer wreathes:

Budding twigs with sweet flowers, can you get more precious than this? {Target}

Forget the lemonade, when life hands you lemons…decorate your wreath?  Ok maybe that analogy falls a little flat, but this Etsy beauty  defiantly leaves you longing for a cool tall glass of summer fun.  {Two Inspire You}

As for this is a great creation, I’ve been eying this guy for awhile.  A little butcher paper and a lota patients and this baby can be yours!  The creator Alisa Burke has a great tutorial on how to make this baby yours! {Alisa Burke}

I of course prefer the non traditional route. I’ve been dreaming about Martha’s tissue paper creations as a fun festive way to dec out a front door for the summer. After playing around a bit with some spare tissue paper here is what I came up with for our front door.

Fun with a punch of color that only summer can inspire.  I’ll give you the full run down on the creation of this beauty tomorrow.
